What is WordHero?

WordHero is a software or application designed to assist with writing tasks. It offers features such as unlimited word count, support for multiple languages, a vast template library, and the ability to outperform leading AI detectors.

It also provides a 14-day money-back guarantee and a limited lifetime deal where users can pay once and use the service indefinitely.

Their software is built on OpenAI’s GPT-3 model, specifically Text-Davinci-003, which excels in producing higher-quality and longer outputs while handling prompts effectively.

This means it’s remarkably easy to create high-quality blog posts while also managing short-form content for advertisements, social media posts, emails, and more.

My First Impressions of WordHero

WordHero is actually the first AI writing tool I’ve purchased.

I’m just stepping into the world of blogging, so I simply wanted an affordable tool that could generate unlimited AI content.

My initial thoughts were, “YEAH, NO WORD LIMITS!” and “LOL, only fools pay for limitations.”

Additionally, I’m really impressed with the user interface, workflow, and the number of templates that WordHero offers.

So, there you have it.

How Does WordHero Work?

WordHero utilizes the AI model GPT-3, trained on a vast collection of written and spoken text from the internet to generate similar outputs.

With a staggering 175 billion parameters, it could potentially increase to 100 trillion if they eventually transition to GPT-4.

The model can take user prompts and generate text based on the context it has learned from its training data.

And it’s not just about simple pattern matching.

It accurately assesses the likelihood of a sequence of characters appearing together and generates multiple responses and ideas in response to prompts.

WordHero provides a user-friendly interface to fine-tune this model, creating custom templates that offer structure and guidance for the generated text.

WordHero User Interface

The interface is quite sleek and easy to navigate, so you’re unlikely to get lost.

On the main dashboard, there’s a large search bar in the center for you to select your desired templates.

If you’re using the Lifetime Pro package or any regular subscription like mine, you’ll be able to see the extensive template editor at the top alongside the history tab.

Note: Lifetime Starter does not come with this.

You can access app settings and your profile separately by clicking on the hamburger icon and your profile picture.

Who is WordHero Good For?

WordHero is an excellent tool for converting short-form content into long-form structured drafts.

Here are some potential use cases:

  • Blog writers: Utilize the long-form editor and keyword assistant to create blog outlines and generate feasible drafts efficiently.
  • Marketers: Generate conversion-focused copies using various templates for ads, landing pages, social media captions, welcome emails, lead magnets, press releases, etc.
  • Authors: Incorporate the best copywriting practices by crafting unique headlines, descriptions, and storytelling approaches in your books.
  • YouTube creators: Brainstorm compelling titles, video ideas, descriptions, and video scripts.
  • Agents: Create engaging content for your clients at a faster pace without compromising quality.
  • E-commerce and SaaS businesses: Craft conversion-focused copies highlighting benefits to persuade potential customers.
There are truly countless applications for this tool.

Ultimately, if you need to quickly create any type of text content that grabs attention, you’ll benefit from using WordHero.

WordHero Key Features

Now that I’ve gone through the highest-level overview of this AI writing tool, let’s explore what types of features WordHero offers.

Generator Mode

They’ve made content creation incredibly easy by simply inputting a few keywords into the prompt box after selecting any template, and your text will appear.

Here’s an example of me using their AIDA Copywriting Formula:

WordHero AIDA Copy FormulaGhim This is the first option on the main dashboard.

Following the on-screen prompts, I input a brief description of my fictional GPS tracking device for dogs called DoggyLocate.

Upon hitting “Write for me,” WordHero’s AI generates several AIDA-formatted results on the right side for you to choose from.

Within just a few clicks, content is ready for customers. Simple as crazy, right?

This applies to all other templates they provide.

I’ll introduce more about the templates in the section below.

Multi-Language Support

With support for over 108 languages, this is truly one of the most impressive features of WordHero.

WordHero Multilingual SupportGhim Even the big player, Jasper AI, only supports over 25 languages.

Currently, I’m in America working for my family business, and I need localized content for advertising copies and social media posts.

I’ve never been able to find a professional AI writing tool that can generate local language, Khmer, until now.

Tone Selection

Most of the medium to long-form content templates will also come with a color tone option.

All you need to do is input the desired tone into the text field, and the AI will attempt to incorporate it into the output.

However, since tones are not predefined, we really don’t know if the team has fine-tuned the model with appropriate datasets.

It’s truly a hit or miss depending on what you input.

From my testing, common prompts like casual, formal, humorous, and friendly have yielded more accurate results than non-standard prompts like solemn, elegant, and academic.

Take it with a grain of salt and don’t set your expectations too high.

Keyword Assistant

WordHero also comes with a keyword assistant for some templates, including the Blog Paragraph option in the long-form editor. You can only add up to 3 keywords at a time, so choose wisely.

I want to point out that it doesn’t scan the highest-performing articles on Google SERP based on the keywords you’ve chosen.

It doesn’t automatically integrate semantically related terms, optimized for SEO, into your output.

It will attempt to include the keywords you desire in the paragraph.

So, your job is still to identify what needs to be included.

WordHero Long-Form Editor

Their long-form template editor is a fundamental feature but is only available to Lifetime Pro users or those using any regular subscription package.

It looks very similar to Google Docs, with fewer options.

While it may seem counterintuitive, simplicity is what makes this tool great.

At the top, you’ll find essential text formatting tools and other unique content creation features like Blog Outline, Blog Paragraph, and Additions.

On the left, you can access document settings and even browse through all their templates to quickly integrate specific AI content into your writing.

Let me walk you through how to write a blog post using WordHero’s long-form editor in just a few steps.

I’ll write a post based on the topic “What is AI writing software?”

Step 1: Creating a Blog Outline

Start by entering keywords into the title field. Then, click on the blog outline sketch icon, resembling a 6-box grid at the top.

And POOF, magic!

Alternatively, you can navigate to the left and search for the Blog Outline template and use the creation mode.

Then simply click on the double arrow at the top to switch all sections or individually with single arrows.

Note: The output will vary each time.

Step 2: Generate Blog Content

Afterward, select the section header for which you require content and click on the Blog Paragraph icon, resembling a rocket.

Within moments, you’ll receive a well-crafted paragraph. Should you require additional words, click on the Write More icon, represented by a pencil adjacent to the rocket. Ensure your cursor is positioned at the paragraph’s end.

Alternatively, you can use generator mode. However, now you have the option to include keywords and tone in the prompt.

Once you obtain the result, transfer it to the long-form editor.

Note: I observed that one of the keywords I selected, “content writing,” was excluded.

Repeat this process for the remaining sections, or proceed to step 3.

Step 3: Use Other Templates From Generator Mode

You can only use the blog paragraph tool to complete your article, but why not utilize WordHero’s templates to add more specificity?

I want to create a section about the pros and cons of using AI writing software.

Go to the writing tools on the left and search for the “Pros and Cons” template.

Enter the prompt, and you’ll receive the entire paragraph. Easy.

Step 4: Generate a Conclusion

Finally, create a conclusion using either the blog paragraph tool or the “Conclusion Blog” template available in the writing tools on the left.

Using templates in the creation mode might yield more relevant results as you can input brief points into your prompts.

If you use the blog paragraph tool, it will generate a generic result based on the main article title.

How Good Is the Content Quality From WordHero

I have freely generated all the sections to complete the blog post.

Now it’s time to see how good the content quality is.

Note: I haven’t made any adjustments and didn’t edit it. I’ll be testing the raw output from WordHero.

WordHero Readability

I copied and pasted the entire blog post into Hemingway, and here are the results:

As you can see, it’s not great but not terrible either.

Remember, this section hasn’t undergone any editing, so you can definitely enhance readability with some editing tweaks.

WordHero Factual Accuracy

WordHero doesn’t generate any statistics, cite events, or mention any specific names.

Our best bet is simply to check if it aligns with the definition of AI writing software.

So, the output seems quite accurate when it comes to NLP, machine learning, and deep learning. Nothing fabricated.

Note: In my testing, more complex or nuanced topics are more likely to produce inaccurate content. Always double-check.

Can WordHero Pass AI Detection?

Now, the question arises in everyone’s mind, “Can it surpass AI detection features?”.

Let’s find out by running this passage through all the AI content detection tools.

WordHero’s AI output, Winston.

WordHero’s unique AI output.

WordHero Sapling Results

WordHero Hugging Face Results

In fact, it’s quite astonishing.

When running tests while writing this blog post, I didn’t expect this content to surpass most common AI content detection tools.

It even passed the plagiarism check from Originality AI.

Well done, WordHero!

Initially, I thought maybe the detector was malfunctioning.

But if all those lists approve the content, we have to give credit to WordHero.

Note: This is just a test I conducted on a paragraph. Results will vary each time. So always check and edit your content no matter what.

WordHero Use Cases (Templates Review)

As of writing this article, there are 79 templates available on WordHero.

They are categorized into the following:

  • Business
  • Marketing
  • Social media
  • Writing tools
  • Miscellaneous terms

I will address the most important aspects in each section.

Business Templates

Features to Benefits

Whether you’re a product owner or a reviewer, this tool will be incredibly useful for creating benefit-focused copies with ease.

All you need to do is provide a brief description of the product with bullet points highlighting its features, and it will turn that into a more compelling sentence.

In my case, I used “GPS Dog Tracking Collar”.

It works quite well. The first result gives you a general answer, while the final results are specific to each individual feature.

Marketing Ideas

If you’re unsure how to create an engaging campaign, you can use the marketing idea templates.

I chose the “Viral” option. The other one is “Regular”.

The ideas it provides aren’t too bad.

It didn’t make me go “Wow”. But it will certainly be beneficial for a less experienced marketer.

Product Descriptions

So, you have a product with all the features and benefits but don’t know how to create a professional product description.

No worries. Use this template.

Really? Not bad at all.

All 3 results yield very good outcomes.

Product Names

We already know my fictional GPS dog tracking collar is called DoggyLocate. But can WordHero come up with something better?

I chose the Normal tone but also included Serious and Quirky.

What do you think?

I’m biased so I prefer DoggyLocate.

Other Business Templates

Here is a list of other templates in the business category:

  • Book Description: Write a compelling description for your book.
  • Book Title: Want to become a New York Times bestselling author? You’ll need a catchy title.
  • Brand Name Ideas: Starting a new business but can’t think of a name? No problem.
  • Real Estate Listing Description: Ensure your property sells with an engaging description.
  • Customer Review Response: Can’t control your anger or lack diplomacy? Let AI remove your emotions and respond instead.
  • Startup Elevator Pitch: Have a great product but can’t seamlessly integrate a quick and direct elevator pitch? Use this.
  • Startup Ideas: Have valuable skills but don’t know how to monetize them? Get some startup ideas.
  • Startup Slogan: Struggling to come up with catchy slogans? WordHero has got you covered, with some pretty good ones.
  • Startup Value Proposition: Honestly, if you need WordHero to do this for you, you probably shouldn’t start a startup. But it’s here if you need it.
  • Vision and Mission: People often confuse these two, and the output from this template is actually quite good.

Marketing Templates

Blog Headlines

After selecting keywords, many people struggle to develop an enticing headline to get clicks. Let WordHero do that for you.

Here are the results for “Best AI Writing Software”.

Overall, it’s not too bad, but I noticed it won’t retain the keyword in the blog title.

Providing a creative combination of adjectives and verbs would be great text accompanying your main keyword.

You’ll still need to tweak it to fit the appropriate headline tag length of 60 characters if you want it to appear uniquely on SERPs.

Blog Outlines

This template is excellent for sparking creativity, particularly when starting with a blank slate.

It provides a solid structure for a blog post with essential section headers.

However, to achieve better ranking, you should still analyze the titles of the top results on the first page of Google.

Blog Intros

If you’re like me, I struggle with writing introductions. It’s been that way since my school days.

Report writing is a nightmare.

This template helps you craft a simple, straightforward introduction.

Blog Paragraphs

This could be a handy tool for you when writing long-form articles.

It will be particularly useful in generating initial drafts for section headers. Especially when all you see is a blank page.

I entered the topic “Benefits of NFT Airdrops” and here’s what it came up with.

As a former marketing director for several NFT companies and consultant for various other projects, I can tell you that’s pretty impressive.

Blog Conclusions

Certainly not as daunting as the introduction, but still a headache to think about.

After exerting all that brainpower to write an entire article, the last thing you want to do is nail the conclusion.

Like, isn’t the article enough? Why do you still need me to summarize?

Anyway, using this template will help alleviate some of that stress.

You still need to fact-check and edit because WordHero won’t be able to identify key points.

Explain It to a Child

This is one of my favorite templates because, in my personal view, many people nowadays try to use complex language to appear intelligent.

Sadly, sometimes I do the same when trying to explain a concept. For sophistication and alertness, right?

So, I want to see how this template answers: “What is quantum mechanics?”.

Not bad. Quite clear and understandable for my monkey brain.

Facebook Ads

If you’re in charge of Facebook advertising like I used to be at an e-commerce company, this will be a lifesaver.

This template follows a structure similar to AIDA, which is great for writing ads or even social media captions.

Take a look.

Both results are engaging, informative, and call to action – a must-have.

Features, Advantages, Benefits

Most of us can come up with names and rough content descriptions for products or services.

However, many struggle with writing benefit-focused copy that converts.

You can use this template to write an engaging FAB statement and refine it later.

Similar to the Facebook Ad template, the Google Ads formula will be useful if you’re addressing that issue.

Since headlines have character limits, you’ll find the results relatively short but actionable.

To be honest, coming up with these on your own isn’t that difficult.

But if you’re struggling, here you go.

Other Marketing Templates

Here is a list of other templates in the marketing category:

  • Amazon Product Description: Get a bullet-pointed product description.
  • Blog Topic: Great for generating blog ideas, but you should still use keyword research tools.
  • Cold Email: A quick and easy way to get a professionally written email from scratch. Most of us can’t do this right.
  • Email Subject Line: Can’t get people to open your email? Maybe try this.
  • Explain Like a Professor: If you want to appear REALLY smart. But you better back it up.
  • FAQ: Great for quickly getting common questions, but you should use Google’s “People Also Ask” feature for related queries.
  • General Email: Similar to the random email template, but you also get a full email with subject line suggestions.
  • HSO Ad Copy Formula: Implement the Attract, Story, Offer strategy for your sales pages or ads.
  • Lead Magnet: Are you trying to build your email list or generate more leads? You need a strong lead magnet.
  • Listicles: Create catchy headlines for your articles. Instead, I prefer analyzing top-ranking articles for keywords and drawing inspiration from them.
  • News Brief: Write a rather formal paragraph like the ones you see on news sites. Great if that’s your goal, but I always prefer writing simpler.
  • Pitch Ideas: Great to have some ideas, but you should see if your suggestions align with your business.
  • Press Release: Have something interesting to announce? Use this.
  • Product Benefit Statement: Craft a paragraph focusing on the benefits for any feature.
  • Product Story: Storytelling is crucial in selling a product. Use this if you can’t do that.
  • Pull Quote: Great for short-form content on social media posts or product headlines.
  • Sales Page Call to Action: If you just need a persuasive CTA, this will do the trick.
  • Sales Page Guarantee: Great for brainstorming, but never make promises you can’t keep.
  • Sales Page Headline: This is really good for evoking emotion in your customers.
  • Sales Page Opener: This template follows the problem and solution formula perfectly for a sales page opener.
  • SEO Description: Great if you just want something quick and dirty. Google still rewrites your SEO description.
  • Social Media Bio: Create a rather lengthy bio but still adhere to good marketing practices to have an engaging paragraph.
  • About Us Website Page: Great if you want to think carefully about all your propositions and see a concise paragraph. But you should know more about your business.
  • Welcome Email: Don’t know how to welcome new sign-ups? No worries. You have this template.

Social Media Templates

Google My Business Posts

This is particularly helpful if you have a local business, but it applies to most things.

Image Captions

Can’t craft good social media captions?

Yea, me too.

Video Descriptions

Automatically generate compelling descriptions for YouTube or any other video platform.

It introduces the topic of your video and concludes with a call to action.

Other Social Media Templates

  • Personal Opinion: It’s not really personal anymore if you ask WordHero, is it? But why not?
  • Pinterest Titles & Descriptions: Provide creative titles and descriptions for your Pinterest posts.
  • Social Media Post Ideas: This won’t get you the next viral post, but it will offer some great ideas for supplementary content.
  • Video Ideas: You should really use YouTube keyword research tools like VidIQ or Tubebuddy. However, this template will be good for brainstorming.
  • Video Titles: This works similarly to other title templates.

Writing Tools Templates

AIDA Copywriting Formula

Using this to create persuasive content can generate attention, interest, desire, and action.

Most copies on the web trying to persuade potential customers to buy something should use this framework.

This template can be applied to everything from social media captions to even advertisements.

Content Rewriter V2

Sometimes you’ll draw inspiration from others.

You may have the raw idea but struggle to articulate or interpret it. Use this template to do that for you.

By the way, plagiarism isn’t cool at all. I hope you’ll still express it in your own words and add even more value.

Grammar Corrector

You’ve just purchased WordHero but currently unable to download Grammarly.

Don’t worry. Here’s the next best thing.

Simply input the text you want to edit, and you’re good to go.

PAS Copywriting Formula

This PAS ad writing formula is also my personal favorite.

You can be more persuasive by following the Pain, Agitation, Solution framework.

If you can address someone’s problem, that’s the best reason to buy something from you.

This works especially well for social media captions if you’re trying to sell something.

Tone Changer

As you may know, not all templates come with a color scheme option.

You can simply paste the output from others here and pick a tone from a set of tones.

Other Writing Tools Templates

  • Similar Provider: Provides suitable explanations for any statement. Many people should incorporate these into their articles.
  • Bullet Point Expander: Like to jot down bullet points but struggle to turn them into proper sentences? This tool can help.
  • Description Expression: Quite similar to content recording with tone options.
  • Essay Paragraph: Similar to the paragraph template for blogs.
  • Example Provider: Honestly, I completely distrust this. Get your factual information from Google and verified sources.
  • Fictional Storytelling: This is quite intriguing and yields creative results.
  • Mini Story: If you need some extremely spontaneous yet creative pieces.
  • Pros and Cons: This suits general topics but will be highly inaccurate for most subjects. It’s better if you conduct your own research.
  • Sentence Extender: This will add a few more sentences based on the input. It starts generating unrelated results when you repeat it too many times.

Miscellaneous Templates

Cover Letters

This provides you with a highly professional cover letter.

All you need to do is add your authentic information and let WordHero handle the rest.

Clearly, some editing may be necessary, but it’s clear and professional.

Job Description

Are you looking to hire someone for the first time?

LinkedIn job descriptions are really great.

If you like that style, feel free to use this template.

Quora Answers

I frequently use one of my favorite templates for my FAQ section.

I use it more for general answers to try and gather rich snippets.

Just input your question and you’ll get a concise answer in a Quora-style.

If the question demands higher expertise, then don’t use it, but the results are still okay.

Other Miscellaneous Templates

  • Fictional Story Idea: The result of this book is okay, but it certainly doesn’t have the quality of JK Rowling’s work.
  • Cooking Recipe: General cooking recipes work fine, but don’t expect to find your grandma’s secret recipe here.
  • Greetings: Well, this is a basic human skill.
  • LinkedIn Personal Bio: List your important milestones and turn AI into a professional bio.
  • Poetry: I’m no poet, but I guess it sounds like Shakespeare.
  • Product Review: Great if you just want to list the key points and grab a full paragraph from it.
  • Song Lyrics: I’m not a songwriter either; Plus, I have no rhythm. However, at least the lyrics rhyme.

WordHero Pros

  • Sleek and User-Friendly Interface: The user interface is easy to navigate, offering smooth UX. Its minimalist design makes it easy for newcomers to get started right away.
  • AI Detection Bypass: It can bypass most current AI detection tools, helping protect your content from being flagged as spam by Google. However, you should still manually edit it.
  • Relevant Main Outputs: The main outputs are relevant, especially for well-defined topics. However, this doesn’t mean you won’t need to edit and add your own input information.
  • Promising Roadmap: Their publicly available roadmap on Trello has received positive feedback from the community, with many development steps underway and upcoming from the WordHero team, which is very promising.
  • Multilingual Support: This is one of the few tools on the market today that can generate content in over 108 languages. This is quite rare and extremely useful for users worldwide.
  • Versatile Use Cases: You get access to a huge library of 78 templates (even more than Jasper) across various categories such as social media, business, marketing, writing, and miscellaneous tools.
  • Unlimited Content Creation: They offer unlimited content creation across all packages except for Lifetime Starter, which is quite unfortunate.
  • Vast Knowledge Base: You have access to an extensive knowledge base full of guides, articles, and short excerpts on how to use all the tools on the platform.

WordHero Cons

  • Subpar Quality for Relevant Topics: While adequate for general topics and reputable, the output quality tends to diminish for relevant topics that require more technical expertise from users.
  • Non-Responsive to Prompts: You cannot engage in human-like conversations and conversions with WordHero as you can with ChatGPT. You can only specify some standard input parameters such as topic and keywords.
  • Inability to Fine-Tune Output: It doesn’t allow you to specify the number of generations or the level of creativity. Instead, you just have to keep rerunning the query to get different results, which may risk credibility if you’re not using their unlimited package.
  • Lack of Integrations: You don’t receive any integrations with other popular products like WordPress, Grammarly, or Surfer SEO.
  • No Plagiarism Checker: Unlike many other tools that utilize integrated Copyscape, WordHero still lacks a plagiarism checker.
  • Slow Development: Despite positive feedback from the community, the team appears to be bogged down with other commitments, resulting in relatively slow recent development.
  • No Team Management Feature: Essential team management features such as adding sub-accounts, team members, or permissions are not available in any of their packages.

WordHero Pricing

Currently, they are still being given priority access.

There are two subscription packages, both offering the same features, but one is a monthly subscription package for $49 USD, while the other is an annual subscription package for $348 USD (saving you $20 USD per month).

However, this is a special offer just for you.

For a limited time only, they are offering 2 LIFETIME packages. This means you pay once and get access to WordHero FOREVER.

With the lifetime deal, you have the option of Lifetime Starter priced at $89 USD and Lifetime Pro priced at $267 USD.

The only downside is that Lifetime Starter only has 20,000 words per month.

It does not come with long-form editor, Keyword Support, or future SEO tools.

I will tell you that this is a theft of unlimited words ALONE, so go for the Lifetime Pro package.

WordHero Refund Policy

WordHero offers a 14-day money-back guarantee for you to try out all of its features.

If you’re not satisfied within those 14 days, you can get a full refund by requesting it via support@wordhero.co.

No questions asked.

WordHero Fair Use Policy

WordHero allows users to generate an unlimited number of words per month, but OpenAI has implemented rate limits on their API.

This is to prevent abuse, ensure fair access for everyone, and manage computer resources.

You may also notice a decrease in output quality after several generations within a specific timeframe.

WordHero Customer Support

To be honest, I’ve never had to contact customer support. Hopefully, that’s a good sign.

But if you do need assistance, they have a comprehensive knowledge base platform that can answer most of your questions about the tool.

Additionally, you can reach out to them via direct chat on their website.

In general, what I find most effective is simply joining the WordHero Facebook Group, which has over 5,000 members.

If there’s any issue, other users might be the first to notice and also the first to provide a solution.

WordHero Product Roadmap

The WordHero product roadmap is placed on a public Trello board, where users frequently provide feedback.

Several new features have been and are being planned for release in different stages. Despite being slow, they are still being implemented.

However, more requested features, such as plagiarism checking and sub-accounts, have been operational for nearly 2 years.

It’s truly a head-scratcher.

Because I can’t imagine implementing sub-accounts being difficult, and they could simply integrate Copyscape for plagiarism checking.

Hopefully, the team will expand its development team to meet the increasing demand.

Why is WordHero Offering Unlimited Words?

To be honest, I really don’t know. But since they’re in the early access stage, it could very well be a marketing tactic to attract more users.

In case you’re unaware, the OpenAI GPT-3 API is not free.

We really don’t know how long the unlimited word count offering or the lifetime plan will last.

So, if you truly want to make the most of WordHero, I suggest you lock in the Lifetime Professional package before it ends.

To Sum Up: Should You Buy WordHero?

This tool certainly isn’t flawless. However, it’s one of the few AI writing software tools left on the market that offers unlimited content in their plans.

That feature alone, coupled with the fact that it can surpass most AI detector checks, makes it a must-have feature in your toolkit.

It doesn’t replace human writers, but it definitely speeds up your writing process.

I hope you find this WordHero review helpful.
